Reset, di Fredrik Akerström e Marcus Kryler, racconta la storia di una ragazza, Sophie, e sua madre che vivono in una fattoria isolata all'inizio del XX secolo. Per passare il tempo la mamma legge le lettere ricevute dal padre assente alla figlia. Tranne che nulla è come sembra e il mio consiglio è attendere fino alla fine.
Il corto è stato opzionato dalla Paramount per essere trasformato in un lungometraggio diretto dagli stessi autori e scritto da Sean Finegan (Getaway – Via di fuga). Per i due registi che provengono dal settore dei videogame (sono infatti autori delle sequenze cinematiche di Battlefield One) sarà l'occasione per estendere i concetti del cortometraggio al cinema, com'era nel loro progetto originale.

Synopsis Sophie lives alone with her mother on a desolate farm in the middle of nowhere. A place that hides a secret far worse than she could have imagined. Director Statement : We both come from a childhood marked by much loneliness, where the security of one's parents was vital. The thing that scared the most was the thought that once parents would die, or disappear, the security would be crushed, or that it was only an illusion. With "Reset", we want to portray this particular fear a child would feel when the worst thinkable becomes a reality.
